Just to let you know that I have authored a research article about combining Tessella (my library on regular polygon tessellations) and painting; and presented it at the 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Workshop on Functional Art, Music, Modelling, and Design (FARM’24), held last week in Milan, Italy within ICFP 24.
Tessella has been duly updated to version 0.3.0 to be exactly on par with the code mentioned in the paper.
For anyone who is interested in the article, it is freely accessible here: Bridging Art and Mathematics with Tessella: A Scala Functional Library for Regular Polygon Finite Tessellations of a Plane | Proceedings of the 12th ACM SIGPLAN International Workshop on Functional Art, Music, Modelling, and Design.
