I wonder if there might be a community interest and Google’s support for developing an XSLT 3.0 processor, competitive against Saxon, Altova’s Raptor. Considering different limitations on various scenarios, against existing products. Perhaps you could mentor in development, using latest version of Scala, in terms of reliability (fault-tolerance?), dependability, maintainability, dependability, and cloud availability.
